In the pursuit of well-formulated questions and elegant solutions.

Design isn’t just something I do but also the way I connect with people and their problems.

Most recent experience

Since July 2018, I’ve been working at Harley Oliver…

… where I balanced improving internal business strategies with designing scalable solutions for clients, as I continued to advocate for the end user. Here I exercised my business skills reconciling a fragmented brand strategy to optimize the sales funnel for conversion. Working closely with the CEO has taught me to make decisions with an economic focus.

On top of that, I helped build human-centered digital products for startups and tech co’s that have lasting impact. If you’d like to know more about my experiences, shoot me a message!

Prior to that…

… I oversaw branding, print, and UI/UX design projects that scaled local businesses at Famous Folks and designed mockups for e-commerce storefront clients like CVS and Urban Outfitters at GroupBy Inc.

Interests

I am a designer with a specific interest in products that tell stories.

I love solving problems like:
- Revolutionizing platforms for story telling (TV/Movies, gaming, streaming, etc.) to make it more immersive, inclusive, and accesible, thus all the more enjoyable;
- Bridging the chasm for post-grad design students in navigating a professional career path that inspires them.
- Understanding ethical design and how we can be more responsible when designing products.

A little more about me

In a family of didactic engineers and pragmatic entrepreneurs, I was always the creative soul.

After a long stint in graphic design, I endeavored my way into product design in university to satisfy an itch for designing products that create business and human impact, not necessarily just to look pretty. I am currently also a mentee with Side by Side Collective, a community of women, gender, and non-binary designers in Toronto that inspire me to be an advocate for myself and navigate towards my goals with confidence.

I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia and in 2014, moved to Toronto, Canada for university.

My ability to look at things through multiple angles to reduce my blind spots in design can be attributed to that big environmental change which required adaptability and open-mindedness. My second and third loves, behind design, are movies and comedy respectively. Both require a degree of storytelling, one of them with a punchline.
